Nerve Compression

Nerve compressions occur when a nerve is compressed within a tight tunnel or by other anatomic structures.  There are many causes and depending on the extent, severity and degree of nerve compression, this disorder may not improve with conservative treatments.  Surgery is performed to relieve the compression and associated symptoms and to prevent the loss of hand function.  Dr Hegge is experienced in the treatment and evaluation of all grades of nerve compression. Call today for evaluation or visit www.plasticsurgery.org for more information.
